This wonderful cottage is located on a dead end mountain road backing up to the Pisgah National Forest, close to Asheville. Recently renovated including kitchen and bath, all furnishings are new along with top quality linens and towels. There are hardwood floors throughout. Enjoy views of the mountains and listen to the roar of the river from the large deck that the six person hot tub sits on or while on the wrap around porch. Engage in one of the many yard games or take a nap on the double hammock. There is hiking on grounds or in the Pisgah Natl Forest. You can fish in the river below for small trout. The lawn is beautifully landscaped with many flowers and bushes. When in season, pick fresh blackberries and raspberries in the front yard. Take a stroll around the creek on the property or down to the river. Bears Den is the perfect vacation spot! This place is very special; we love it and know you will too!
The cottage is located north of Asheville, home of the Biltmore Estate, fine dining, antiquing, shopping and live music. It is also convenient to Wolf Laurel Skiing, Hot Springs Spa, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are many outdoor and indoor activities nearby including biking, white water rafting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, a nature center, museums and children's play places. Come enjoy the large Bele Chere festival that takes place the last weekend of July with lots of crafts & arts & live music!

$150 a night March 1 through Jan. 1 or $895 week
$125 a night Jan 2 through Feb 28 or $875 week
2 night minimum except holidays require a 3 night minimum
6.5% N.C. sales tax
$50 cleaning fee for occupancy over 4
$200 deposit is required

The cottages have open floor plans with kitchen and living spaces combined. They have TV's, DVD players, movies, books, games, and are full of brochures, magazines and maps for things to do. Both have a full size futon sofa sleeper with new spring coiled mattresses for extra support and comfort.
They each have an air conditioning unit along with two fans. Both are stocked with toilet paper, basic soaps, hairdryer, towels and linens for beds.
